A What Now?
Everyone's doing videos to communicate.
No one reads a blog. No one wants a blog.
A 100% agree on all of that.
But this blog is not for any of that. Its not for publicity. Its not a marketing device. And I am not going to scream about 0.65% aero gains at 40 kmph.
I express better with written words. And I have a lot to express. Especially about bikes and folks who ride.
If you, (like me) are fed up of social media, this is going to be a good break! Why don't you get a mug of hot coffee or chai, (I wont judge you either way!) sit down on your sofa and let the words slow down your life a bit? Ok, it doesn't give you the tactile feel of turning pages, but its gonna be a good read if you are into bikes, I promise!
Coming back to "why a blog" when was the last time we did something just because it felt right - and not just because "we got to do it because everyone else is doing it". VELOPILGRIM bikes is another example of not following herd mentality. The bikes were never a means to just make money. It was always a way for me to express my love for bikes by making them the way I think they should exist in this world. Purely Personal. Exactly like this blog.
If this resonates with you, where were you all this while!?
So, what's this going to be about? Well, I think this is going to be a space for documenting some of my thought process on bikes and frame building, or my view points on cycling related stuff, riders, the cycling industry and/or cycling events. At least that's what I am thinking for now. Lets explore where this rabbit hole goes. Together.
